A good day in the Harz doesn’t begin on a camping stove. It begins at a laid table — fresh coffee, crusty rolls, while the trails and hiking paths are already waiting outside.
We serve breakfast two ways: for our hotel guests, who like to ease into the day in their own time. And for day guests from nearby — everyone staying around the corner who would rather skip the camp-stove breakfast altogether. Fresh, no fuss, right in the middle of Schulenberg.
What to expect
A laid table that keeps you going.
You don’t assemble our continental breakfast yourself — we lay you a well-composed spread from the house selection. Depending on how busy we are, either a carefully prepared table breakfast or a breakfast buffet. Vegetarian and gluten-free can be accommodated.
Bread & pastries
Rolls, wholegrain rolls, croissant and bread. Gluten-free pastries on request.
Cold cuts, ham & cheese
A hearty selection of cold cuts and ham, plus a range of cheeses and cream cheese — put together by the house.
Egg
Boiled egg or scrambled egg — with bacon on request alongside the scrambled egg.
Yoghurt & spreads
Yoghurt, butter, jam, honey and Nutella.
Fruit & vegetables
Fresh fruit and crisp vegetables, in season.
Drinks
Freshly brewed coffee, tea, juice, milk and cocoa — included.

Staying near Lake Oker, but breakfast is hit and miss? Come to us. On Friday, Saturday and Sunday we open our breakfast table to guests from outside too — freshly prepared, fairly priced, no hotel room required. Please pre-book via this page; we cannot offer spontaneous walk-in access.
