Our guests are people with plans. Hikers, mountain bikers, motorcyclists, families heading to Lake Oker, travellers bound for the Brocken or Racepark Schulenberg. A good breakfast in the morning, then out — and a clean, quiet room to come back to in the evening. That's what an active day in the Harz looks like.
We focus on what makes that base strong: a good bed, a solid breakfast, a quiet location and fair prices. Plus a barrel sauna for tired legs, a games room for rainy hours, and a lockable bike garage with e-bike charging. The big programme we happily leave to the Harz right outside the door.
At check-in we briefly capture your registration details for the local visitor tax and hand over your RFID key card; the digital guest guide arrives on your smartphone. Please note: we accept card payments only.

Weekend Breakfast
Freshly prepared, Fri/Sat/Sun from 7:30 to 10:00 am, with a time slot of your choice. Add it to your stay — and day guests from nearby are welcome too.
Outdoor Barrel Sauna
A real barrel sauna under the open sky — the right reward for tired hiking legs. Heat up, cool down, breathe out. Sauna towels are provided.
Rest Room
A quiet place to wind down after the sauna or a tour. No bustle, no background noise — just stillness and a spot to put your feet up.
Games Room
Table tennis, foosball and darts. A rainy afternoon turns into a good evening — especially popular with families and groups.
Bike Garage & E-Bike Charging
Lockable bike garage with an e-bike charging point. For cyclists and motorcyclists the ideal base — Racepark Schulenberg 1 km away, trails right outside.
RFID Room Access
Your room opens with your RFID key card. No key bundle, no chip to lose.
Digital Guest Guide
WiFi code, sauna hours, day-trip tips and a direct line to reception — all on your smartphone.
Evenings at the Hotel
No à-la-carte restaurant — breakfast is what we serve. On Fridays and Saturdays we organise a joint evening order from delivery services in Clausthal-Zellerfeld. Plus a self-service drinks fridge on an honesty basis.
24/7 self check-in via smartphone is in development and will be available in the coming weeks. Until then, we look forward to welcoming you in person.

For the budget-minded who just want the essentials: the Double Room Budget from €59 per night. If you prefer more comfort and space, choose from the Double Room Comfort (from €85) and the Junior Suites up to the Suite Premium Plus (from €169).
04 — Breakfast
The day starts at the table.
Not at the camping stove.
On weekends, breakfast is ready for you — Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:30 to 10:00 am. You pick your time slot in advance; the rest is simply arriving and easing into the day.
Whether you are staying with us or joining from outside: both are welcome at the breakfast table. Those heading for the mountains have had a proper meal first — and those who stay have no reason to get up.
Hotel guests
Breakfast can be added to your stay — not automatically included in the room rate, but chosen on purpose. Just let us know your preferred time slot.
Day guests welcome
You are invited to breakfast even without an overnight stay — up to 40 guests per day. A good start to a day in the Harz, with no journey required.

Long weekends — for our guests
On long weekends we focus entirely on our guests: arrive Thursday, depart Sunday — three days of Harz, savoured at leisure. From July to September the minimum stay is two nights; in the other months there is none.
