If you come to the Harz for work during the week, you need little: a quiet room, a straightforward arrival and a house that thinks ahead. The Vitalhotel Schulenberg sits in the heart of the Upper Harz, near Lake Oker. Fitters, business and work travellers are expressly welcome with us.

On request we issue the invoice directly to your company. You give us the company address, we take care of the rest.
No guest levy on a business stay
Anyone staying here purely for work is exempt from the guest levy once we have a short confirmation from the company.
Arrival after hours
Self-check-in at the tablet at reception. After 9 p.m. just let us know in advance and we will always find a solution.
Free parking
Parking spaces right at the house, no charge and no reservation needed.
WiFi throughout the house
In your room and in the public areas, so you stay reachable in the evening too.
Breakfast and dinner in the house
Breakfast can be added daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am. In the evening the Harzer Stube is open daily from 5 pm.

Two rooms for a work assignment.
For a business stay we recommend the Budget Double Room and the Comfort Double Room. Each room has its own bathroom with shower and WC. You will find an overview of all categories with photos under Rooms & suites.
Budget Double Room
The practical room for a work assignment: box-spring bed, shower, TV and WiFi on the ground floor. In all honesty: the bathroom in the Budget Double Room is a private bathroom with shower and WC, but it still dates from the 1970s and has not been renovated. It is of course clean, but no longer meets the standard a hotel guest may expect today. If a modern bathroom matters to you, choose the Comfort Double Room.
For business stays we offer the Budget Double Room from 59 € per night, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. On request the fitter's breakfast is added: 10 € per person and night, daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am. This rate is not bookable online; you arrange it with a short enquiry to us.

Comfort Double Room
A little more comfort for longer stays: a modern box-spring bed, a table with chair and armchair, a flat-screen TV, a direct-dial telephone and a tablet with the digital guest guide. The bathroom is modern, with shower, WC and hairdryer. The rooms are on the ground and upper floors, and we are glad to help with the choice.

For business stays we offer the Budget Double Room from 59 € per night, with a minimum stay of 3 nights. On request the fitter's breakfast is added: 10 € per person and night, daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am. This rate is not part of the online booking, where the regular prices apply. Tell us the period, the number of people and how many rooms you need, and we will confirm the business rate directly.

Can I stay on a company invoice?
Yes. On request we issue the invoice directly to your company. Simply give us the full company address when booking.
Do I pay the guest levy on a business stay?
Anyone staying in the Harz exclusively for work is exempt from the guest levy once we have a short confirmation from your company. Just bring it along or send it to us in advance.
I only arrive late in the evening. Is that possible?
Yes. Check-in runs via the self-check-in tablet at reception, so you can arrive after work too. For an arrival after 9 p.m. please let us know in advance and we will always find a solution.
Is breakfast available?
Yes. Breakfast can be added daily from 7:30 to 10:00 am, with a time slot of your choice.
Can I get a warm meal in the house in the evening?
Yes. Our restaurant, the Harzer Stube, is open daily from 5 pm, for hotel guests and visitors from the area alike.
